The camera comes to focus, showing the ringside area. No lights are on except for a single spotlight on the announcers.
Dr. Louve: "Welcome back to Rock and Roll Wrestling, folks. We've still got a great card for you in just our second Rock and Roll Wrestling of the season."
Mr. Robotoo: "You sure are right, Louve. There's so much talent and potential for great matches that I think my head's literally about to explode."
Dr. Louve: "You and I both know that it only feels that way because you just had some skittles. You must be tasting the rainbow."
Mr. Robotoo: "Of course I'm tasting the rainbow! I mean, who isn't right now? We've got one of the biggest matches since coming back scheduled for tonight in the Hardcore Icon Champion, Johnny Anderson, going up against The Phantom."
Dr. Louve: "You're right, that match will likely be one of the..."
The spotlight on the announcers' table is cut, as the titantron comes to life. A barrage of shots from a machine gun are heard over the arena sparking a wave of anxiety to the crowd as they begin to boo. Rise from the Ashes by Quietdrive blares over the loudspeakers, as a clip is aired on the titan tron, showing some of Johnny Anderson's greatest victories and most powerful moves, ranging from his finisher the Star cutter to his deadly Starsault. Johnny Anderson makes his way to the ring, wearing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and the Hardcore Icon Championship draped over his left shoulder. Lots of multicolored pyrotechnics blaze behind Johnny as he stands just beyond the entrance stage. He continues making his way to the ring with microphone in hand. When he reaches the ring, he jumps up onto the apron and enters the ring. Johnny walks to the middle of the ring and begins to speak into the microphone.
Johnny Anderson: "Hello, imbeciles. I'd love to give you a list of reasons as to why I'm so much better than you, but it all boils down to one reason: because I was just born better. Not just that, but I've come out here for a different reason. Before I get to that, I would like to ask The Phantom to come down to the ring and just listen to what I have to say, no speaking required. So, if you would be so kind as to come on out here so I may speak with you, please do that now."
The Phantom comes out after a few seconds to no music and no effects. He seems to be all business, and it shows. He makes his way to the ring and sits on the top left turnbuckle with a microphone in his hand.
The Phantom: "What is it that..."
Johnny Anderson: "Didn't I tell you that you didn't need to speak? What I meant was that you weren't allowed to speak, at least not until I'm done."
The crowd starts to boo once more, but settles after a few seconds.
Johnny Anderson: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you people hate me. But guess what? I hate you too."
Johnny Anderson smiles sarcastically, then begins to speak once more.
Johnny Anderson: "Ok, back to what I wanted to say. First, thank you for coming out here to listen to me, Phantom. Now on to business. Last week, we made a deal that if your team beat mine, you'd get a shot at my Hardcore Icon Championship. That was true, but it wasn't completely true."
The Phantom: "What do..."
Johnny Anderson: "What do I mean? I mean that what that agreement meant was that if your team won, you would get an opportunity at my Hardcore Icon Championship, but that's not all. However, since your team won that match, you get the shot. I'm the Hardcore Icon Champion, so I get to decide how that shot occurs. I thought about it a lot over this past week, and I decided that it will be a three-part match. We will have three matches of different types, one next week, and one more a week or two after that. Unfortunately, when I ran my idea past Jared, I was informed that he would count that tag team match as the first match of this three match series. I had originally meant that if you'd won one of three matches over the next few weeks, then you would automatically get a shot at the pay-per-view for the title, but Jared made it his business to try and throw me off my path to glory. The final stipulation for this series is that whoever wins this series by getting two of the three wins gets to pick the type of match that our title match will be, since there's now no chance for there to not be one, since Jared is once again trying to keep me from staying one step ahead of him. What do you think of my proposal? You may now speak."
The Phantom gets off the turnbuckle to speak.
The Phantom: "You know what, which match type I wrestle you in doesn't even matter. At the end of the day the outcome will be the same. I've only got one question. How will the match type be determined?"
Johnny Anderson: "They're to be decided randomly. So, do you accept?"
Johnny extends his hand to The Phantom.
The Phantom: " Fine, we'll do things your way. You better hope and pray that I don't get to decide the final match type. Until then, I accept!"
Phantom takes Johnny's hand and they shake. Phantom then turns to leave the ring, when Johnny runs up behind him and twists him around. Johnny kicks Phantom in the gut and puts Phantom's head between his legs. Johnny lifts Phantom up onto his shoulders and puts Phantom's right arm behind Johnny's head. Johnny then releases Phantom's left leg but keeps him in powerbomb position to wrap his right arm around the side of Phantom's neck, as would happen for a mic check. Johnny then falls backward, slightly twisting to the right, smashing The Phantom's head into the mat. Johnny then gets up and exits the ring. He heads backstage, leaving The Phantom laying lifeless in the ring. The camera fades out to ringside workers and trainers checking on the unconsious Phantom.
What do you guys think? For the second week of matches, I was thinking that we could schedule one, then add another onto it from TWG.
